Jobs for the Disabled?

Hello everyone. I am 18 years old and have Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy. I’m not wheelchair bound but cannot stand for extended lengths of time. Due to this, I’m having trouble finding a job where I can work enough hours without becoming worn out. I’m hoping to move out into an apartment soon but I need to get a job where I can work full time. If anyone can post any ideas for jobs, work at home jobs, or government assistance I can receive I’d greatly appreciate it.

Try Wal Mart or any of the bigger chains of supermarket. They all make concessions for folks with disabilities. They have chairs that you can sit on if you become a cashier and they use wheelchairs if you can’t stand for long periods of time. I’ve seen many wheelchairs being used by Wal Mart employees just because they can’t stand for long periods of time. Good luck hon.
